Okay, so I just got a PPC 6700 :D :D :D


Anyway.. quick questions. I aksed the rep if I needed any special addition to my plan to use EVDO on my phone. She said no, the 15$ vision pack that I currently had installed would be fine.

Now this is well and good.. and I'm not complaining... but when connecting the PPC shows a message stating that it's Dialing #777 while connecting. It shows the EVDO symbol and the speeds are on par.. what I'm asking is simply, is this how it's supposed to work? I'm coming from an LG 535 (which I'm selling for 80 if anyone is interested ;) ) and am not used to seeing this message and just want to be sure that I'm not being charged airtime or per kb or anything and that thi sis an unlimited connection just as was the case with the old vision I'm used to...

$15 vision access pack for unlimited data is SICK. Verizon charges $40 for the same thing on their pdaphones :eek:

PPC6700 always dials #777 when it accesses data so don't worry. It is annoying to see that bubble so go into the phone settings and disable that notification. I think it's under settings/notifications or something.
