Forgive me if this has been answered elsewhere, but how do you get video ringtones to work on your phone? I have animated gifs on my a920 for when someone calls but none of the video files on my phone can be set for ringtones...

I can only set video ringers for voice calls and not anything else. They have to be 3gp. If they could be set like ringers or text alerts I would also like to know how.

I'm still confused with the term "video ringtones"....are these just 3gp files on your phone setup to play when you get a call?

Yeah they just play a video clip when someone calls or you can assign them to someone in your phone book. You can make a video ringer out of any video clip from a music video,movie,tv show etc. Sprint charges $3 for a 15 second video ringer I think. I've only downloaded 1 before.
