First question is can I somehow use an a920 and powervision to connect to my laptop, giving me a high speed connection on my laptop. How is it done, bluetooth?
If I sign up for PowerVision(EVDO) but it is not available in the area I am in, do I still get access to 1x networks under the same plan?
Sorry if something doesn't make sense, still working on understanding all this stuff, thanks for your help.

I will try to answer.
You can connect the a920 to your laptop through bluetooth or USB.
I think you will still get the 1x network if EVDO is not available.
You are supposed to have a $50/month Phone As Modem add-on plan to tether your phone to the laptop.

I also can not get it to work. the connection manager always says connect phone when it IS connected. does not work in DUN either. I can get the computer to see the phone but can not seem to get the SOFTWARE to recognize it as a valid phone.
Suggestions ? I would prefer not to mess with bluetooth (I know BT works as I use it with my PDA) but BT on a Computer is a royal pain in the ***** :-)

I just got a A920, and when I am trying to connect via USB, the phone says that pasword is incorrect. my previous phones (not PowerVision) never asked for a password. Do you know what is correct setting?
