I have Picture Mail but I don't have a Power Vision account. I have the $0.02 per KB. Will it cost extra if I get pictures?

Yes, it will cost $.02 per KB, as PM uses vision both to send and receive the messages.

I didn't know you could even get picture mail without some form of vision. OP states they don't have POWERvision, but nothing about plain vision. Perhaps grandfathered plan?

Naw, you can receive pictures just fine with casual vision usage (per kb billing).

yep I send them to one of my co-workers from time to time when she ask me to. She also does not have a text messaging plan. Her bill is different every month... I could not live like that.

I'm sorry but receiving a picture will require a vision connection and it will be billed in some fasion. It is data...1's and 0's and there is no getting around it. I understand the notification comes in via SMS but actually viewing the picture is going to use kilobytes. Without a vision plan you will be billed the 2cents per kb.
