On Wednesday I purchased two A900 phones as replacements via telesales and was told they would be sent overnight, but due to the time they might not arrive until Friday. Well Friday night the phones had not arrived so I sent E-care an e-mail asking about the phones and about the customer loyalty discount. I've been a Sprint PCS customer since 99 and a Home Sprint customer since 88. I have no discounts or freebies on my account and I have 4 PCS lines with them.
I've been a lurker on this board for a while (very nice site) and know what they can do if they choose. I expected something, not just a blanket "Sorry" from them.

i would email another rep, just send a new email from the sprint website and tell them that you were supposed to get them nextday and ask about the loyalty again, some reps just don't so it

I would bet that your answer came from overseas or from a csr in this country that was born overseas. Just look at the poor use of the English language.
Resend the request and hope you get an answer from a real American this time.
I may be wrong, but I think Sprint may still have a few genuine americans on the payroll.

I sent another e-mail today, this time a little more upset, as I really am.
I stressed the fact that it was to be sent overnight as one phone was a birthday present for my wife. At this point I'm ready to send the phones back (when the show up) and cancel my contract with them. :(

Like I said before, I have no freebies, discounts, ect and they still won't help me out.
Now, will they offer something, or do I have to demand something? I really don't feel comfortable demanding something for free, but if they offer it... :fingers:

The problem is your dealing with overseas eCare reps. If your able to just call phone CS and get someone who speaks english as a 1st language they will offer you some form of a credit. Personally I've gotten 50% off my bill 4 times and 100% off once.
Dont cancel over phone shipment issues! Sprint WILL offer you something for the delay!

I have been with you guys for a bit on my data card. I love the data card service so much I decided to switch my voice over to you guys.

was originally going to get a SERO plan since a buddy of mine works for you guys. I went to my local Sprint store, and the representative turned me on to the $40/month 300 minute free incoming plan. I figured I have local help if anything goes wrong, and somebody to chat with about you guys. (I am really hoping to get a job with you guys in the near future). Anyways, he saw I was a customer, but was not able to do much in the way of helping me out on some things. I have had the phone for about a week or so now. I love the idea of Texting, and the Power Vision is absolutely amazing! I am signed up for it for free for the first month, but I have no choice but to cancel it because I will not be able to afford the data card and the phone with all the extras I want. So, my question to you is, is there anything you guys can do so that I can get something like texting or Power Vision so I can keep my current plan and stay with you guys? As I said, I will most certainly be a long term customer, and hopefully, be employed by you guys soon enough.

Hehe yeathat would not be good. I atill have 8 days left on the trial :) Either way, I like the service, but I cannot get what I want that is somewhat affordable. O well. Anyways, I am applying down in the Springs. I live about 20 minutes from the Springs. I am about 10 minutes north of Monument. If you are looking for a career with them, go to their site, contact us, and click the careers link. They have a few retail as well as engineering openings in Denver. I am changing my major to telecommunications from Computer Science. In telecom. I will actually have a future! Maybe an RF engineer, Sprint is looking for one in Englewood lol.

Well today the phones showed up, and I called to activate them. The first rep started the process on the first phone then hung up on me? Never tried to call back or anything. I waited 20 minutes and called again, this time I got a lady in india... She finished the first set up and started the 2nd one. She went to change my plan because of the mandated vision pkg, and I mentioned the retentions rep was to give me 7pm free. She said there is no free 7pm with a shared minute plan. So, after a 30 minute wait she sent me back to retentions... Now I have a nice southern speaking lady, very helpful. She added the code for free 7pm, checked my plan and the 2nd lady never added the vision pkg or anything. So she adds the Vision to both phones, along with the free 7pm and gave me a 15% discount for the life of the contract.
I'm paying full price on the Vision pkg, but the discount and free 7P helps.
Can I cancel the vision pkg or do I have to keep it for the full term?

I just signed up for a SERO plan the other day. So far I think it is awesome! I had a quick question relating to the Vision access. I have a Power Vision phone. What level of Power Vision comes with the SERO plan?
Is it Vision access, Vision plus, or Vision ultimate? Also, how early do nights and weekends start? A friend of mine who has the same plan said he was able to get nights and weekends starting at 6 added for free. I am not sure how he was able to get that, but I would love to if I can.
