Hi guys! I'm a new sprint customer as of 4/4/06. I currently have two Samsung a900's. I've got both phones setup on the SERO 500 plan for $30 dollars a month. I signed up for them both via http://www.sprint.com/sero and have not had any issues other than the fact that my pciture/video mail on both phones is "selective" on when/if it wants to receive it or not. I've got a question. I am within my 14 day trial period with the phones and would LOVE to get FIMF and N&W @6pm for free on the account as I've seen many of you have this as well. How should I approach this aspect of things. Should I do it in my 14 day trial period, should I wait until afterwards or what our your thoughts. It's funny I called *2 today in regards to my PIC/VID mail issue and the person I spoke with gave very little info about the actual problem. He mentioned there was some "updating/maitnance" going on in my area that wasn't completed yet and did not have a completion date for me. So I'm thinking he was blowing smoke up my ass. No big deal. It's not his fault it's not working. I'll play with it more and see what is going on with it. So anyhow towards the end of the call he is like I'm sorry for the trouble and since your a new Sprint customer I'm going to give you a $10 dollar credit and 1 month free of unlimited text messaging. I was like thank you but I do not need a $10 dollar credit nor do I need unlimited text messaging since I have unlimited web etc. Told him I appreciated it but did not want the free stuff. (hopefully he didn't add anything to my account) If he did and I e-mail ecare I'm thinking it will hurt my chances on FIMF and N&W @6pm. Oh well. So what do you guys think? Try now and see what they say since I'm on the 14 day period still or suck it up and wait a while and see what happens. Thanks for the info/tips.

Bunch of other threads you could post this is in. But I'll put in my 2 cents anyway. Doesn't matter when you ask for it. Email e-care to go about getting those perks, just be nice and maybe say that you just started service with them and want to stay with them a long time. Im sure you can get what you need. Login to your sprint acct at sprint.com and hit contact us , then email us to get the form to send an email to e-care.

Since I have two SERO 500 plans on my account and signed up via the website (new customer) if I where to ask for FIMF and N&W at 6pm and got them do you beleive it would raise a flag in their system and force an audit? Thirdshift suggests only asking/getting 2 freebies and I'm totally ok with that. I don't want to ask for too much. Plus I'm already extremely happy with what I have now as it is. The other thing is how should I go about asking for it? I don't want to be like "Hey I want this stuff free!". Any suggestions on how to ask for it and what to say to them? Thanks for the info!

Your Sero plan does not include unlimited text messaging...

You should have taken the $10 credit..

Never turn down things.. Always accept and try to make them better.. lol

I know it dosn't include text messaging. I don't need it do to the fact that I can use "Trillian" on my phone IF I really want to talk to people. If I must I can bite the bullet and spring .10 a text in the rare instance that I use them. He was gonna give me unlimited text for a month anyhow (not that big a deal, I can care less). The $10 credit wasn't that big a deal either. I don't want to bend them over backwards so to speak. I'd be really happy with FIMF and N&W at 6pm for free on both lines. The rest of the stuff dosn't really intrest me. Like I said I don't want to ask for TOO much.

Ok, so will this work? Example:

Hi I am a brand new Sprint PCS customer. I was referred to the service by a friend of mine whom works for Sprint. I have heard of customers getting the first incoming minute as well as nights and weekends at 6pm added to their account for FREE for just being a Sprint Cusomer. I was inquiring to see if it would be possible to add these free features to both of the phones on my account. Thank you for your help!

Is this ok to send or should I modify/chage/word it differently? Thanks again.
