I'm sure tons of people have asked already but I can't seem to find any threads that deal with this. I am trying to use dbringers.com ringtones but when downloaded to my computer and tranferred to phone it says something about not being formatted or something. I can't listen to it on my computer either. When icon clicked on it the Open With... menu comes up. Is there any other software or anything needed to format the ringtone differently so it will work with my samsung a900? I just switched over to sprint again from nextel so I am new to this, bear with me. Thanks!

Also, what format do video files have to be in in order to play them on my phone? Say for instance an mp4 or avi or mpg. And how do you format those into the format needed for my phone? Thanks in advance!

It sounds like you're not downloading the right file--first making sure you're downloading from the AAC section. You can send them straight to your phone from his site, or you can click the link to download it to your computer. If you do that, whatever you download should have "M4A" as an extension. You shouldn't have to format anything at all--his ringtones work with the A900. You would then send that to your phone with an uploader.

.mp4s can be played on most MM phones, but .3g2 (a sub extension of 3gp fiels) can be mailed to phones via your email or picturemail if they are under 512KB
