I transfered my Mp3's from pc to phone via the 'media' file. They play visually, but there is no sound. I can't figure out what's wrong. And yes....the volume is on.

Is it with every MP3 you have? If you want, I can see what I can do if you can e-mail me one of the MP3's. PM me for my e-mail address if you're interested.

Woo Hoo, I figured it out. For anyone else out there, I recommend looking thoroughly through past posts. There was no sound when I transfered the mp3's directly from my 'musicmatch' program, however everything worked just fine when i transfered the mp3's only from 'my computer'...'my music'. Thanks to laursifer and thirdshift for their help and support. i love this board, and i love my new phone.

I think this is still slightly on topic, but can you tell me the easiest way to delete Mp3 files from the song list on your phone? I hit options, but I see no delete option. I did a quick search, and certainly don't want to start a new thread for this.

If you want to delete them entirely from the phone, well first it would depend on the phone. If it's one with a memory card, you should just be able to start the Media Player, choose Memory Card, highlight the song, hit Options and select Delete. On my 940, that is option 2.

If it's one without a memory card, such as the A900, you can delete files from Tools/Mass Storage/File Manager.

If that still doesn't work, you could do it manually from the card and a card reader, through your PC.
