Hello,

I have a quick question that I just can't figure out. Usually, if I used the "Search" feature, I can find out what I need about my phone. But, this one is something I couldn't find and I think the answer is something I don't want to hear. :icon_smil

I have a Sanyo VI-2300 cell phone from Sprint PCS. I don't do much with it but I have used this site to learn some pretty neat mods. The easiest for me is the Wallpaper uploader.

But, here's my question, is there a way to remove that cross-hair looking thing from the top left of my display? I believe it's an icon for "Location" but I wouldn't take that to the bank.

I only ask because one of the wallpapers I put on my phone isn't able to be viewed properly with that thing over half the logo. :td:

Thanks and I'd appreciate any help! :)

unfortuantely it cannot be removed. if you turn it off it makes an even worse icon with a red slash through it

Yeah, that's what I thought. I did turn it off before and it's exactly what you said - a horrific red "Slash" over a crosshair.

Oh well...

Thanks though!
