When I pull the headset plug out of my VI2300 the phone hangs up. What can be done to prevent this?

that is wierd, mine does not hang up.

does it hang up if you plug it in durring a call?

some sugestions to diagnose:
try another headset
try setting the headset turbo button mode to "voice mode" (menu, settings, other, headset mode) if it is already set on "voice mode" turn it "off" and try it.
