so heres the deal, i just got a MM-9000 and i took the wallpaper (pictures) and phone book data off of my MM-8300 using Bitpim, first I uploaded the phonebook with little problem and all of the contacts are intact and working right. then later i downloaded the pictures off of the MM-8300 via bitpim. The bitpim settings were set to 8300 for both the MM-8300 and the MM-9000, like i said, the phonebook worked so i figured all is well.
Thats where the problem happened, since then, the pictures havent been working out right, at first the standby background was set to default, and it would change untill i copied the pictures off of my MiniSD and sent them to the phone using the Copy/Move feature. now when i set the photo ID when people call, none of them work, even if its saved to the phone.
Obviously the software on the got messed up or the coding for the pics messed with the reference files

1. Would updating the phone via Sprint fix the problem or
2. Will I have to reload the firmware on the phone via a link someone can provide or
3. Is there a file i can modify with the USB cable? or
4. Will Sprint be able to re-flash it if i bring it in?

Im relatively new at this cell phone thing, but Ive got a good understanding of computers, but obvously nothing close to most of the guys on the forums, any help would be greatly appreciated, I just got this amazing phone, but its frustrating to think that i messed things up.

thanks in advance....

try a master reset ##786# but it will erase EVERYTHNG and you'll have to reprogram your phone
