why don't you upload them to your pictures account?

i can't upload them because a dumb feature of the 5300 was if you saved it to the folder on the phone, they can't be uploaded. they remain only in the phone. problem is, when i finally realized that, it was too late and i have like 50 pics in the phone. so now i am stuck trying to figure out how i can get them off the phone and onto my pc

Not a problem! We designed the Sanyo 5300 to work fairly well with data transfer programs like BitPim (free download, http://www.bitpim.org/ ) so that your pictures may be extracted through it. I suggest checking for a cable on eBay- just stay clear of the ones that charge your phone.

Good luck! I'm glad to hear the phone has served you well!

I'm pretty sure you're thinking of a different model (or possibly a different carrier's firmware for the 5300). BitPim cannot access the /data/camera/pictures path in the filesystem of the 5300 sold by Sprint. With later models, yes. With the 5300, no.
