My sirius is ran through a tuner box that plugs directly into the head unit of my car. It has a pass through for an IP Bus cable designed for hooking in a cd changer since they use the same connection as Sirius. I know there is a cable for IPOD's so you can hook them in and listen to your music via aux on the head unit. My question is, has anyone ever seen one for cell phones?

I've personally never heard of one, but it could be out there. Couple options would be going the aux input route and getting a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter for the cell phone then whichever adapter (long as it's 3.5mm) to plug into the head unit. Another way would be with a RF modulator that would play music from your phone on the FM frequency.

Hope that helps

I went this route as well. I haven't seen or heard of a bus adapter that works with handsets... I'm sure it wouldn't be cheap if they do make one, the 3.5mm adapter would probably be your most cost effective route and the wire is thinner and easier to hide than a bus adapter if you want to do a clean install in your car.

Ipods seem to be very common and they make the part because there is a large demand, also the bus proably controls the functions of the Ipod from the head unit much like a changer. Most likely Alpine, Pioneer, etc... don't have a large demand to incorporate hanset controls into it's head units where as ipods are more common and more profitable to the company to have this feature on the head units.
