My 8200 is having some serious issues. It seems that many of the buttons on the keypad don't seem to work anymore. The phone is out of warranty now (I believe the warranty is only a year) so I am not sure what to do. Has anyone else had problems? I have heard of random charging problems and earpiece problems. I guess I need to get a new phone

Nope, unfortunately I do not have the insurance, but I am eligible for the $75 rebate ($150 in 6 months). Also, my girlfriend wants to change to Sprint, but I don't want to do the family plan because my company pays my phone bill. Any ideas how I can get a new phone cheap?

as far as getting a new phone cheap, try ebay or radioshack. ebay is almost always cheaper than buying retail, esp. cheaper if you're getting an older model or something discontinued. radio shack sometimes sells refurbished handsets for a lower cost which you may be able to apply the $75 rebate to.

Add the three dollar insurance to it then take it into store.

Currently Sprint doesn't allow you to just add esrp to your account for $3 because that's insurance fraud. Instead I would go to a sprint store and ask if they would be willing to sell you a pre-owned phone with a new contract.

At some stores, at least at the one I am employed at, we can sell phones that have been returned within 14 days at half the retail price as long as you sign a contract. You only qualify for this offer if you don't have insurance and your out of warranty.

or..............

Take the phone to a repair store, ask them to look at it for you. If there is no water damage to the phone the tech may be able to just fix the keyboard for you and that would cost you $35 and your good to go.

Good Luck
