This stupid phone is gettin' on my nerves.

I should have just stuck with the SCP-5500.
Anyway. Has anyone seen this error code before, I tried to thoroughly look for it in the forums and nothing came up that was identical to this issue.

Whenever I tried to view the "Online Albums" this error codes comes up:

"Picture Mail Error"
Error <P11>
"This request could not be processed because the network connection could be not established."

Then, if I get lucky and can actually get to the Online Albums, I try to download my pictures/videos from my previous handset pictures (SCP-5500 & VGA-1000) and I download them either "In Phone" or in "miniSD" ---I've tried both--- and it says

"Some files were unprocessed"

Then when I try to go look for the picture/video.. it either doesnt show up in the phone, or it will show up with a Black/blank screen with a red [X] on it, or it will be just a circling hour glass icon which thens locks the phone up and I have to restart it again.

-- This shhh, is a gamble...sometimes it downloads, and sometimes it dont. I have to literally restart the phone everytime in order to access the Picture Mail site. I even tried to send pictures to myself from the web..and thats a gamble, some come through...others dont.

So..yea..I called up a couple techs,...they've never heard of this error code and tried to help. Now Im waiting for a 'phone call, take will take up to 51 hours' to receive...so...I may just take this blasted phone back. :frustrate

Any thoughts?

Moving this to the Sanyo section in the hopes that you'll get more help there.

Have you updated the software?

Thanks for the move. I tried to troubleshoot the phone myself. Resetting the picture token, updating the software, resetting the phone settings, re-entering the MDN/MSID numbers, re-entereing my PM password, and taking out the battery and so on.

I called up *2 and got transfered like a million times, to Vision Techs, Advanced Vision Techs, EVDO Techs and so on. On Monday, I was pn a single phone call for an 1 hour and 22 minutes. Even the techs were frustrated that they couldnt get the phone to work. Then we got new error codes. G56 I think. So, finally. They deemed the phone defective and I was told to go swap it out and exchange it.

So, I did. I have the new phone and works fine. So, it must have been a bad handset.
Thanx for the help.

Glad it worked out...I hadn't heard of anyone having issues that bad with their 9K before but I'm glad you were able to get it swapped out.

At least one person reported that his On Demand was crashing. The Sprint store re-flashed his phone, and it was then fine.

So perhaps a few of these Sanyo 9000 phones were improperly flashed at the factory.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (MobilePhone MM-9000/US/1.0) NetFront/3.1 MMP/2.0)

What's Weird To Me, Is That I Only Had It For 3 Days And First Full Day It Was Working Fine. Until The 2nd Day Rolled Around, Was When It Started To Show It's TRUE Colors. Nonetheless, It's A Great Phone. But I Still Love My 5500, Which Is On My 2nd Line. :-D
