I'm running Win XP Media Center Edition and when I am installing Sprint Music Store backup Application I get to a popup that says, "The software you are installing has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify it's compatibility with WindowsXP"
Then it says continuing may impair or destableize the correct operation of your system.......
My options are "continue anyway" or "STOP installation".
Well, the other day I chose "continue anyway" and it screwed my system so bad that I had to reformat and re-install XP.
What's the deal here?
Anyone else run into this problem or know how to fix it?
Thanks in advance.

I would try redownloading the application, being careful where you download it from. Other then that it should work, but there is always the chance that there might be incomplete compatibility with software already installed on your system. Examples might include: Datapilot, other usb > phone programs. Also, you might go to your system restore, before attempting an install and set a new restore point before doing the install, that way a complete reinstall wont be neccesary. It should be under Start> All Programs > Accesories > System Tools. Hope this helps.
