Hey guys. I have a fast growing movie collection (200+) and I catalog all the movies I have into a database. Well, sometimes I stop by a Best Buy,CC, or Blockbuster to purchase a movie and realize I already have a copy @ home. =\ So, I'd like to know, since I've always got my MM-7500 on me, is if there is anyway to import my Excel database into my phone somehow to double-check my movie list before a purchase? It doesn't necessarily have to stay as an Excel file, as long as it is easy to read and still stays in alphabetical order it'll be perfect. Any ideas on how to accomplish this? The only thing I can think of is text messaging myself but I think it's too much text for one message. Thanks for the help guys. Ciao!

hmm thats a very interesting question... maybe via a usb cable, you can transfer the files from your PC to your phone (if it is bluetooth enabled)

the phone does not support USB mass storage, so there is no way to do that

I just looked into sending myself a text message but that looks like it will be tedious with a 140 character limit. Is there a way to email myself (the text, not the actual excel file) and open it on my phone?

You could always create your own website even using one of the free services and sticking the info on there. When you need to access it just fire up the 'ol browser and open it up.

or if you got a gmail account convert your excel file into a pdf and email it to yourself and you can view the pdf attachment on gmail.

If you have Hotmail, create a folder with a saved e-mail with all your movie titles in the body. When you need to reference your titles check your e-mail account from your phone.

Another option is to save your excel file as a text file (Save as...), then copy and paste the contents of the text file into an email.

Then, just send to your PCS mail. (your vision name) @sprintpcs.com

You can always access that from your handset easily and without having to login with a username and password like with hotmail or gmail. It's also not subject to any length limits.
