Which file types can I use with the MM-7500, without downloading a helper application? And for question #2- where can I go get some helper applications?

Ringers....just downloaded a couple and the phone wants a helper program....I'm wondering which file's it'll recognize as ringers, automatically.

aac/m4a (http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54271), midi, and qcp (some places may still call these "dead ringers") ringers. after you make them, just an upoader (focus or an alternative such as rumkin) to send it to your phone.
