So, first we got pictures of just the top back corner of something that looked like an antenna-less Treo (First Pictures of Treo 'Hollywood'!?) but couldn’t really tell if they were for real or not.
Next we saw pictures of the full front and side of this presumed to be Treo ‘Lowrider’ (More Pictures of the Treo... 'Lowrider'?) but since the screen wasn’t on we couldn’t tell if the smartphone was working – in case it was just a Treo 650 whose antenna had just been chopped off.
Now we get the first pictures of this Treo ‘Lowrider’ (I’ll stick to that model for the moment) seeing it indeed working and playing streaming radio (RAAR.FM) at 160Kbps (look at the top right hand corner of the screen) with Pocket Tunes Deluxe which would evidently seem to suggest that the radio on this antenna-less Treo is working perfectly well indeed…

So is this really the anticipated new baby in the Treo family? As someone commented in my previous post, I would tend to agree that the blue colour and more ‘funky’ casing make this Treo a strong contender for the Lowrider as it makes it more appealing to a wider – non-business – consumer audience as well as more fashion-conscious European GSM users.

It is becoming increasingly difficult to categorize these pictures as part of some elaborate hoax and hopefully more information and images will surface in the coming days. For the moment the mystery continues…
