Sometimes I open my vi-2300 and the screen is completely whacked out... I need to reboot the phone to fix it... I have tried the update through the phone, but there is no update.. ??

Hwo long have you had it and do you think you could dupicate the issue at a Sprint Store?

You're best bet would be to try and explain to a Sprint store the problem and see if they will replace it.

what about my screensavers.... custom bought rings and address book if you get a replacement ??

My wife's 2300 screen does the same thing every now and then - for no rhyme or reason. It didn't start until after she started using an uploaded picture as her wallpaper background -However, the problem is intermittent about every 2-3 weeks and she started using a wallpaper background after about 2 weeks of owning the phone.

I have not tried to see if the problem occurs with just the defualt wallpapers - as it takes so long to recreate the issue and the resolution is quick and easy...

For my wifes phone - the symptoms are mainly an overly bright screen and odd contrast.
