I have decided to buy a PDA phone, but am having some trouble really deciding which one. Here is some background information:
- I have been using Palm products and software since the Palm III days.
- I have some experience with the Windows mobile through work, but not a lot.
- Web Access is not very critical for me.
- Actually prefer no camera
- Want to useit primarily for Calendar, To Do List, Contacts, Mail is minor concern.
- I do not use Outlook for my personal mail account
- Prefer stylus input for notes, but do not want to have to use the stylus for dialing a number.
A friend of mine has verizon and just got the SamSung i730 and I do like it, so I am interested in something comparable.
Thanks for any input. Also, is there any place to see a good comparison between the PPC's and TREO's.

Phones being looked at:
PPC 6601, PPC 6700, Treo 650, Treo 700

The 650 should be good enough for what you need it for. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, I'm fairly certain you can still order (special order, through Sprint directly) a 650 with NO camera. Combine that with the price it's going for now you should be all set. The 6601/6700 would be probably too much for what you're looking for and the 700 would be nice if it comes out sometime soon (!) but it'll be probably 5x as expensive as a 650. If you can wait and afford it, then go for the 700P, otherwise 650 will be your best bet.

the 6601 really isn't that bad and pretty cheap on ebay (at least it was in early december when I got mine)....
