Bitpim does work with the 9k and if u have used it in the past but just urgraded ur firmware ill tell u how to make it work again. you have to have your msl to complete this. Click ##data# go to usb mode enter your msl and the set it to composite. You will still be allowed to tether and also you will be able to use bitpim as composite allows for serial and usb to work together at the same time...............and here is a link to a post that tell you how to get bitpim to work http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=86427 ill give credit to the original poster Slave2daShack

Before I got DataPilot I used BitPim all the time with the 9000. Saved me from manually entering all my contacts off the 7400. Over 130 contacts would have wore the key pad out on a brand new phone. At the time Sprint didn't have the means.
Can you read other things in the phone too, like filesystem?

i know this isnt really the right thread, but is it possible to use bitpim for the 5600, or use it as a modem for my laptop?
