I just checked on eBay and 'sprintnetwork' has the 650 for $49.99. It was $64.99 late last week. Gee, wonder why is it getting cheaper.....
because the 700p is releasing in june

That's a good one - but I would bet that the P will be here before June (maybe not April, but certainly May) as I assume they would want to roll out the W as soon as they can after the 6 month Verizon "headstart" program is over. And I would not think they would want both of these rolling out that close together.
Just my opinion.....

umm, there ARE more changes than that....
Sprint TV
much better keyboard and overall design
support for >4GB SD cards
MUCH larger DB cache so it "feels" faster and is more stable
slightly newer version of Palm OS (5.4.9) which includes a bit of added functionality like decline call w/ SMS among others.
much more memory for apps built-in (62.8MB free)
Bluetooth 1.2
1.3Mpixel camera
EV-DO
pTunes, Documents To Go 8, both included in ROM
newer versions of apps, some are much nicer now according to Merlyn_3D (who would know)
seems like a pretty good list to me.

:good: me too! sometimes it's good to be more evolutionary than revolutionary.

I go back and forth on this on a daily basis - While I certainly would like all of the new features, I am just not certain I want to pay $500-600 for the phone when it finally arrives as well as another $200 or so in SW and accessories. I am not sure it is THAT important to me.
Yesterday, it was "wait", today the checkbook says "650"!

when we pay so much for these phones why can't they at least have 2.0 mp camera's, its not like the technology isn't out.

next we'll be wanting better low-light imaging and optical zoom and ****. it's a phone and the camera is a convenience, not intended to replace a digital camera. besides, palm doesn't put much emphasis on it anyway as most corporate environments you can't have a camera anyway.
