I'd say your best bet is ebay. I've gotten most of my phones through ebay for anywhere from 10-40% off. Good luck.

Try Costco, they're a little bit cheaper than most places...

No, you misunderstood me. What I said was that even without rebate/discount, Fry's prices on the better Sprint phones have been about $100 less than ordinary retail pricing.

Yeah, ebay's always your best bet on electronics.

I got my used Treo for ~$300 and it's including my headset, 2 512 SD cards and other stuff I haven't even taken out of the boxes yet.

Easily a $700-800 value.

If you're a new e-bayer, make sure the seller is giving you a phone with a clean ESN. That can be your downfall easily - get the phone delivered, all quick to open it up. Then you call sprint to do the switch, and they say the phone is bad.

Ouch.

Make sure the ESN is clean, make sure you're getting all the accessories/devices the phone is SUPPOSED to come with, and if it's not coming with a certian item (i.e. AC charger) make sure you order it separately. Don't assume anything about the seller, if they say Treo 650, don't assume it comes with the battery and cover, unless they say so.

And if all else fails, ask.

They are a brick and mortar store. They can be found out www.outpost.com
