Hello all,

I've been trying to access my ISP's web-based email page from my phone for several weeks. The ISP claims to support accessing email from cell phones, but I was constantly having problems using the browser that comes with the MM-7400.

I posted a message on my ISP's newsgroup and got feedback from one of the CSRs that the web page I need to view uses HDML. She then sent a link to a definition of HDML which says that it is supported by Openwave browsers.

Since the browser on the MM-7400 is NetFront, it appears that there's a browser compatibility issue that's preventing me from viewing the page.

All that said, is there an Openwave browser available, or one that supports HDML?

Thanks!

Try the Opera Mini browser...That thing pretty much rocks! I haven't come to a page yet that it doesn't open.

I have the 7400 as well and thats probably where its the weakest is the built-in browser. Although it is better than what I previously had in the a680. I probably wont go back to samsung now.

The latest version of Opera doesn't support HDML. I get an error:

Downloads not supported
Ignoring "pnm" with type "text/hdml."

Thoughts?

Try using the search feature in this forum. That's where you'll find the link.
It is: mini.opera.com/sprint.
Use your phone browser to go there.
