:tu: Just saw over at BlackberryForums.com that Sprint has enabled EVDO for the Blackberry 7250. According to the post all you have to do is call up and ask to be flagged for a PRL update. Call *2 to get the udpate then power cycle the phone. When it boots up, you should have EVDO.
Just tried it on mine and it worked like a charm. I didn't bother calling *2 at first for the PRL update, I called the Blackberry support number since they usually are alot more helpful then regular Sprint support. Took a couple of tries calling *2 before it finally updated the PRL.
Seems like webpages load about twice as fast using the Blackberry Browser. Haven't really tried much else, but the 1XEV icon is there. Sprint may be behind VZW when it comes to enabling EVDO on the Blackberry, but at least they finally got to it.
