hey yeall, im having major problems with my 650(just go the line a few days ago)was working fine, then today sprint majorly screwed up my account and deactivated service by accident, service was reinstated, and now fast forward a few hours and this phone is no longer making/receiving calls. I have been thru the representatives and am still waiting to get to technical support, anybody have any suggestions?
switch to cingular. Or call the retention line and threaten to do so if they don't give u somethin free. It should work. Ask for free vision or unlimited text or a credit or somethin. If no luck call right back and try again. Sprint is DOO-DOO. Welcome to Sprint where reps put u on hold and hang up on u and where sh*tty customer service is a way of life.

don't recommend u get a PPC 6700 , cuz it runs Windoze and its ugly...nuff said. But To each his or her own...Treo 650 is how I boogie.

actually i have a 6700 and love it! well anyway i FINALLY got to tech support yesterday and after trying a bunch of things he told me the 1 week old phone is broken and to go into a store and get it replaced. BUT this morning the phone starts working again, so i hope we've seen the last of that.....yesterday was a horrible day for sprint customer service, earlier that day my lines got cut off for a couple of hours because of a "system error" on their part that had to do with my billing, and what do i get for all this nonsense? A 5$ credit towards my account! btw anyone order 6700 screen protectors from meritline.com? im thinking of trying them out because theyre antiglare so it might help me read this thing in sunlight....

Umm, I sold my treo 650 for the 6700. I loved my treo, couldn't get it away from me. Now I feel the same way about my 6700. I don't think your reasons to NOT GET A 6700 are good reasons :td: .
