Wireless Web Messages and Switching Phones

For the past few years I have been using an old Samsung A500 and just recently it has begun to break. So I've been looking into getting a new phone that is SMS enabled unlike my old phone. My only issues is I've been using the shotmail sytem for years and my plan says I get 100 Wireless Web messages yet it never shows me having used any when I send easily 15-20 messages a day. So my questions are:
1. Why do I never show any change in my Wireless Web useage?
2. If i change to a SMS enabled phone will this stay the same, or will I most likely start having my Wireless Web usage change? Thanks.

you will loose wireless web and then you will have to add a text messaging package or pay 10 cents per message sent/recieved.

uh..i have an old vision pack, it includes 100 messages, so i can't lose it, i'm just wondering if they'll start deducting when i send and recieve messages

Yea they will. It happened to me when I went from a 5400 to a 8300. Most of the time on my 5400 it wouldnt take away msgs. It would say I only used 20 for a month but I knew for a FACT that I had sent at least 30 msgs not including the other 20 I would recieve. But I just emailed ecare and now get 500 free so I have nothing to worry about!

thanks, the funny thing is that none get taken away right now, i think in the lifetime of the phone i have only seen 2 used..what would i say to ecare if i emailed them to get more message?

Check Tips & Tricks forum. Then go to the thread about free texting. I copy and pasted some of the stuff other people emailed to ecare and it worked cause I now got 500 free.
