I have followed the tutorial on this site to create my own ringtones for my Sanyo SCP-8100. I have my final cut ringtone in .qcp format. I "PC Sync" my phone with Bit Pim, and send the data to my phone. After I finished the transfer, I went to my PC Sync on my phone, then went to ringers, and nothing is there? What am I doing wroing?? Please help, I have read and read and read for three days and it is getting really frustrating. Anything will help, Thanks

If I remember correctly, you aren't doing anything wrong, per se. You cannot add ringtones that way. It has to be done through an uploader.

What do you mean through an uploader? I can put the ringtones that come with my data cable on my phone just fine. (I use the same procedure) I dont know, its just really frustrating

MIDI would explain it, which is what I assumed but didn't wanna say it, be wrong and look stupid :p MIDI is the only format you can transfer via USB. If you want to transfer QCP's you have to use an uploader.

Yea, reality just sat in, and it hurts. lol I have been fighting this thing for like three days now. But, on the other hand, I just sent it through focus, and after i receive the text with my phone, and it goes through the "receiving" part, I just have a blank screen. lol the ringtone gods are out to get me!
