Per my thread below - I went to Fry's today to buy a 650. They told me that Sprint had shipped them 650's with the "wrong software" and they were re-shipping new ones to arrive next week. OK, no big deal, I got a raincheck. However, while I was standing there another guy came in to ask about his 650's service. He has had one for 2 weeks and today it just stopped making calls - it works, but he can't seem to connect to the Sprint network. Seems these two are related. I would assume there was some type of major upgrade in the system. Anyone know anything?

Total BS. There is no "wrong" software for the 650. As for not connecting to Vision, that seems like a provisioning problem on Sprint's end.

It could also be a problem with the user's settings. I know it is hard to do but you can tweak the wrong thing. I have had mine for a few weeks and everything works fine.
