I have come across them myself and I think/believe that they may be images that have some type/form of encoding within the file for copyright purposes. The ones I have come across dont show up when i try to view it in my content but when I assign it to screensaver, it shows up. I have tried saving the image by placing the encoding method in optimize (rather than progressive) and the sub-format in standard and it didnt take care of the problem. I'm looking into this myself now aswell but if anyone has any idea how to take care of this problem, I'd be happy to hear.

I actually found the files that I thought deleted. Here are the ones that do not work for me

I've been thinking alot recently about the screen savers we all put here for our community here for ALL to use. My concern is someone finding this thread and saving all these images and putting it on their site to sell to others. I would hate to be doing this work for someone elses gain. While I dont consider it work really, I am spending my time resizing them and saving them appropriately. I do it for this community though, not someone who will eventually profit from it.
Also, while I know that I'm downloading these images of the web, I try to keep the artwork in its original state without modifying it. Afterall, if the artists of these wonderful images put them out there for the public to view, I'm sure they would be happy to know that people have their artwork on their phones and LOVE IT!!

or are u able to use the bluetooth? cuz i made my own folder, and i put some pics on therem and they actually work, like i can find them on my phone after i drop em in the folder while my cell (a900) is plugged in the pc. but it wont let me use them as a wallpaper...or it doesnt fit to the right size...anyone know whats wrong? is there a way to get wallpapers without sending them as a txt, then connecting? cuz i just got charged 230 bucks for using the internet...im guessing it was cuz of me keeping it on, but i dont think theres even a button to log off, i just click the end button...so let me know!, thanks

I have a file that I want to use as a background. It is 90kb 240-320 resolution and 8bit. It looks great on my computer screen, however when I upload it to my phone it gets all pixelated and looks awful. Anyone have an Idea why this is?

Hey all, noobie here. Just got my A900 yesterday and still trying to figure it all out.
Making my head spin (easy to do).
Been checking out the screen savers in this thread and the original thread. Some are just absolutely amazing!
Was wondering if someone could make one of the Colorado Avalanche "A" logo and one of the Denver Broncos horse logo. :)
Need to read some of the stickies here so I can get them on my phone.

Thanks! I wish I could do something like that but I dont. I am a graphics designer but I deal mainly with vectorized images. I work for a sign company so i work with plotters, rip printers and engraving machines, which all need to read coordinates. I'm in charge of all graphics and vinyl that come in and out of the office. We mainly manufacture all types of plaques (etched, engraved), cut out letters, and vinyl lettering(images).
I have some images that were created on a program called 3D Studio Max that look unbelieveable (i'll post them soon). I have that program and been messing with it at work but I cant mess with it here at home because my computer is to slow to run it. When i get my new computer soon, i hope to play around with it and make some designs of my own. Most of these images that ive posted are stuff that I like that I use as wallpapers for my pc. I hope some day to make my own designs though :) .

lol ahhh, well, had I created them, then I would of accepted fault but I didnt. None of the images were created by me. All I've done is resize, clean up, crop (very little to fit appropriately) and inverted the colors on 3 images because they looked cool (like the ones you mentioned). I hope I can make stuff like that some day though....ive been interested for some time now.

I just put my backgrounds in the same place as the folder that stores the pictures taken with the phone camera. Just create a folder called backgrounds and put all the images in there. I use about 10 different folders (not just "Backgrounds" to be able to organize the images).

In Mass Storage, under DCIM, you will find 100SSMED. Create another folder under there, like I have...

To assign those pics as screen savers or whatever, go to Menu/Pictures/My Albums/In Phone and browse to whichever folder your wallpaper is in. Select that wallpaper and then go to Options/Assign.

Try to just send it to your phone. That is a Gif File. If that doesn't work PM me and I'll make it into a PMD file which will probably work for you phone. My friend just got that same Sanyo so I can test the PMD on his phone.

I think if you are going to use the USB then I think I read soemwhere that you have to make a new folder inside of your DCIM folder and then Transfer the Data to there. If that doesn;t work jsut use an Uploader site like this one, www.rumkin.com or www.funformobile.com. Good Luck.

Wud_e, I have the screensaver on my phone, it seems to work surprisingly well, :tu: all the other animated screensavers that i've tried have messed up the phone. the only thing is that every now and then it will do the animation in slow motion, but that doesnt really bother me. it definitely looks awesome on the phone. not really sure what else you could do, maybe some trasnformers ones would be cool. but i'll take any animated screensaver you got :hee: this link has some transformer gifs: http://www.transfan-asylum.org/art/art.htm

Cool Glad you Like it. It took me forever to get that to work!! :p I had to Add extra blank frames after each image to make it work with out looking to glitchy. Yeah it plays funny occasionally on my phone as well but not enough to be an anoyannce.

In Photoshop you just open the image, and use the Image/Image Size and Image/Canvas Size options to resize it as needed.

Hey, that's a pretty cool animated background. Found out something interesting too, it seems that the prossesor dumps down after a few seconds to save power; proof- hit the end key after it starts glitching, and presto chango- full speed again, so if you sit there and hit the end button over and over it is almost like you have it running full speed with no problems.....interesting. Yeah I just got into trance Im about to turn 19. It was a big change for me like all of a sudden I stopped liking hip hop and I was a huge hip hop head. I recently just went to my first ultra music festival down in miami south florida. Paul Van Dyk is also very good. House is also very fun to dance to. I was in the house room alot of the night during ultra fest. The lasers owned me though at the show.

Good to hear! I had a few friends go down to WMC this past weekend. I'm pretty much done with the scene but I'll never be done with the music. Heres what you asked for....hope you like them. :)

I had my fun so now I'm just enjoying my weekends during the day rather than night. Have fun with the scene and DONT get mixed up with the wrong crowd. Other than that, you'll be fine and love it!

i really like the abstact ones. and the one at the beggining w/ the pen writing down. Got any more abstract??? they look great on the 5600 thanks

Something like these two, only without the tabs at the bottom.
I'm not sure if the quote feature will get what I want but back on page 3 there were some White Sox images. Does anyone know who made those or where they got the images from? They're much better than I could find. Other than that, here are a few contributions to the thread.

That is a Samsung thing. I fixed them all, so they should work. Though, they kinda aren't that great for the A900. "SAMSUNG" gets covered by the date and time unless you use one of those floating clocks or something.
They've also all been uploaded to the wallpapers section of the site, so a search for Samsung in the future will return all of these should you need them again (and don't feel like digging through threads).

I made these for my samsung d600, the time location wasnt an issue.
Noticed that they look distorted when transferring via usb cable, but if I download them to my phone using the rumkin uploader (http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/index.php) they look fine.
