I just walked through the signup process on the Sprint website. I chose a fair & flexible family voice plan, then clicked continue and got the page of plan upgrades. A new one was the 'Flexible Phone as Modem' option for $25. The explanation says it includes Picture mail and Sprint TV. It then adds this statement 'Unlimited usage for the first month. After one month, use the MB included in your plan'. To me MB means megabyte, i.e. data usage, but there are no MB limits that I am aware of on a voice plan. Do they really mean you're limited to the minutes in your plan? Hope someone knows, since I called Sprint three times today and had the line drop each time before I could get an answer.
Thanks,
Tim

It's not worded well. That flexible phone as a modem plan includes 40 MB, which is the MB in plan they are talking about. I didn't think they offered that plan anymore though.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping it wasn't the 40mb limit. I would have gone for the $50 unlimited, but the Sprint store tells me you can't get a voice plan with on the same phone if you have the unlimited phone as modem option.
Thanks again,
Tim

I think they were lying to you.

Today I finally got someone at Sprint that knew how the PAM plans worked. I got the unlimited PAM for $40 added to my voice plan. I'm charging my new phone as I write this. Although I'm looking forward to using the new features, I have to say that I was very close to dropping my Sprint service altogether. If it hadn't been for the info I got from this forum, I probably would have given up. The people in the store were completely clueless.
Thanks,
Tim
