Does anyone think the $10/mo TV Package with sprint is worth it. Wondering since once you sign up can you cancel without having them make all sorts of changes to contract? And it locks in at $10/mo so when they add more stuff, your in now?

Also I have the retention vision now power vision

PowerVision is the way to go if you're going to have the tv.
Whether it's worth $10/mo is debatable...I pay it, but I think they need
more channel selection. I first had the $25 PowerVision Ultimate, but it is mostly
video clips. I downgraded to the $15 Power Vision access and added the SprintTV LIVE for $10, since most of the channels on it are live. But, like you said, it can be easily removed...so try it and see what you think...but they need more channels. Sirius Radio is awesome too. It's $6.95/mo.

Does SprintTV and MobiTV offers the same channels? It's for the same price but I don't really know which is better. You should try looking into it.

Regardless, SprintTV has better quality though, since I don't think they will release MobiTV2 to EVDO phones. Even if they d, I would put my $ on SprintTV because i would believe SprintTV would still have better quality. Just make sure u have EVDO coverage, the reasons why i cancelled my SprintTV was because i moved to a place w/o EVDO.

I have PV Ultimate (just reactivated it on Feb 17) and I like browsing through the comedy clips. So far, thats the only thing that has my interest. If nothing else comes up, then I'm most likely going to get the $15 package.

I think I'm going to make the plunge and buy Sprint TV Live and dump my Sprint TV Ultimate down to regular Power Vision ($15) and then add the $10 package to make me whole (with more live channels). I haven't used the picture mail since I've had the 900 so I don't really care I guess.

My question is this. Can I downgrade that PV package from the $25 to the $15 online? Or do I have to call CS and wait for an hour to do this over the phone? Anyone know?

You can do it online, that's how I did it.

Sprint TV LIVE and MobiTV are one and the same. The only difference is that on EVDO phones, the mobitv-powered sprinttv plays in Sprint's media player and gives it better quality. Sprint plasters just about everywhere the following statement, "SPRINT TV LIVE powered by MobiTV." That's why MobiTV will not be offered on EVDO phones, because they already have it, just under a different name and with better quality.

What channels are available under Sprint TV live?? I have ultimate right now, but the only ones I watch are Leno, Comedy Time, Discovery and NFL network. However Discovery and Comedy time don't update their clips often enough, and Leno usually only has two ro three clips. So I get bored with those channels quickly after viewing the clip once.

I need to update this, but this is the gist of it

use orb! for less than what you'd pay for one year of Sprint TV.. you could buy a TV-In card for your PC(you can actually get some cards for around $20) and watch REAL live TV and/or any Video from your PC... listen to any song...

of course this isnt for everyone.. but i think the ppl capable of doing this should put it to use. plus then you'd have a tv-in card and can watch tv on your PC... :)

Yeah, that's a good point, but it is worth noting that there's a definite quality difference between streaming from ORB and Sprint TV Live or the other Sprint TV packages like Ultimate. While I have always agreed that ORB is an excellent thing, I just don't like it. I almost went back to it with my A900 because of the lack of external media storage, but the quality difference still bugged me. This could be because I work in video, though :p Still, I refer everyone I know to ORB. Whether it's for you or not, it's always worth checking out.
