I live in Southern NH near Portsmouth, NH. I have an A900 that I've had for about a month and it works just fine. I was well aware when I bought it that I don't have EV-DO coverage where I live. Recently (last week or 2), I've noticed that my a900 keeps showing the EV-DO available icon (gray with white arrows), but as soon as I try to access Vision, it switches to Standard Vision arrows. Do you think this means that they're testing EV-DO in my area and it's just not in the PRL yet? I know some of you guys around here are much more of experts on this stuff than I am, so I would be grateful for any info.

Hey, I live in mid-NH, around Plymouth...have you had any problems reception-wise with your A900? I qualify for the $150 rebate, and am thinking about getting that phone.

EVDO may not be going in your area for months. The A900 is a great phone with great capability. If the service is not offered in your area, you wasted $ on the phone. In a few months, the phone will be cheaper!!! Good luck with that service in your area :headbang2

Well, I haven't gotten it yet...but, if I wait, then I will lose my rebate...I think they say that it will expire at the end of March...that will really tick me off if I can't end up using my rebate...

He was talking to the original poster...whose thread you've tried to hijack.:hee:

You should start your own thread when asking questions not pertaining to the subject or since this issue is region related, I'd just PM the original poster rather than hijacking his thread.

You might just be on the fringe of PV. I get PV in South Hampton and Salem, NH. Salem is somewhat of a fringe area. I get PV about 80% of the time, and sometimes when I can't get it, it does the behavior you spoke of.

Resnor, when coming home from Cannon, I think it's just before Plymouth that I get service back on my A900. I'm probably headed up there again this weekend, so give me a PM next week, and I may have better recollection.
