Just picked up a Tekkeon ET3000 to work with my PPC6700. Paring works fine.
The problem I have is that I hear a very faint noise in my headset - actually one of two noises. The first is a BEEP about every one second. Or I hear what sounds like the "second hand" on an old clock every second or so.
Anyone else have this problem? Thanks in advance!

Someone over at pdaphonehome.com had the same issue, if you're not that same guy, I think i read that he might of had a defective unit. But you can't believe everything you read.
This is a little on/off subject, but how comfortable is it? Could you wear it all day or would you have to take it off every once in a while?

It is very comfortable but I do not think it is sturdy enough to wear all day. You will need to adjust it a lot. If you are going to wear it all day then the caller ID feature is kind of pointless and you are probably better off looking elsewhere.

I have a question for the tekkeon users. I currently have the BT800 and was thinking of getting this one instead, how does it compare? Do names actually show up on the headset?

The name does not show up on the headset. I had the Tekkeon and the BT800. I def. prefered the Tekkeon. The BT800 was huge and I did not find the volume that loud on it. The Tekkeon looks alot cooler on the ear and the volume goes extremely loud. The display is also alot nicer on the Tekkeon. it is much easier to read in the dark and the light. Although I did return my Tekkeon for the nXZEN 5500 which is in a league of its own. If caller ID is not important to you then def. look into this one. I thought I needed caller ID and that it was my main concern. But what I relized is the most important thing was to be able to use the headset in all different situations. The nXZEN is the only one that allows for that. You can litterly talk at a concert and sound like you are in your office!

So thats why everybody and their mom is talking about the 5500, noise cancelling. It must be pretty comfortable too, i guess.

Lets just say that I took my nephews to a childrens play museum. There were like 100 kids running around screaming. You had to speak into someones ear if you wanted them to hear you. I figured if it can handle this it can handle anything. I was realky not sure it was going to pull this one off. So I can't another phone and left a voice mail. Welk all I could say is wow! You would have thought I was all alone. The handset could have never even came close to this headset in this situation. The 5500 has dual mics. One for the background noise to eliminate it and one for your voice. The headset is very comfortable to wear and sturdy. It comes with 4 different earpieces. Although its not the sexiest looking headset out there. I recommend picking one up at CompUsa at trying it out. You can return it with no problems if you do not like it.

Is it possible to have two Bluetooth Headsets connected to the PPC-6700?
As in, I would like to have both the nXZEN 5500 and the HBH-662 (or ET-3000) paired at the same time, so when I get a phone call I can see who's calling on the caller ID of the HBH-662 (or the ET-3000), and if it's really noisy, I can take out the nXZEN 5500 from my pocket and use it to talk.

I am pretty sure you can only use 1 at a time.
