I searched for this topic but couldnt find anything. Is there anyway while texting to change the way the space button works. When I am typing a message, I also have to hit the space button twice to get it to insert a space. I talked to a friend of mine that also has an a900 and he says he doesnt have this problem. Is there an option to change this or do I just have to get used to hitting the space button twice? :frustrate Thanks in advance.

are you in T9 input mode or alpha mode? I've notiched this occasionaly on my a920, but only when in alpha mode.

t9 it doesnt do that. alpha it does.

I had noticed too that it would take two pushes sometimes and only one on others. My sister figured out why. It takes two pushes of the space button if the last character you entered is still highlighted. If the last character is NOT highlighted, then it only takes one push.

Yes, this is in Alpha mode. Not the biggest fan of T9.
