I've had my own web host for a while now. About two months ago, I switched to godaddy.com. Nice account, ASP.NET 2.0, .5TB transfer, and an SSL cert. Today, I uploaded a 3gp file, and whenever I try to access the file, I get a 404. If I change the extension, the file is accessible. Godaddy support tells me their web hosting isn't compatible with 3gp files. (It's just a file - how could they not be able to serve any arbitrary file?)
Now, this sounds rather stupid to me, but I'm going to have to change hosts - I refuse to give people instructions on dealing with my files. Who out there has found a good company hosting - and serving - their .3gp videos?
The video in question - it's okay for copy - it's creative commons licensed. (http://www.zbuffer.com/trustedcomputing.3gp)
