View Full Version : 6pm N/W Worth it with Free Incoming?

I realize that this is really based on usage. However, I'm simply trying to gauge what others have. On March 3rd, I'll be switching to the 500 Outgoing/Free incoming plan from my regular 1000 anytime minute plan. Since I now have to pay roaming, that's a total of $9 extra/month for the plan. They did give me vision access free, so that takes care of that charge.

I'm just wondering if paying $10/month for 6pm N/W if one has free incoming. Would it be cheaper overall to call someone and have them call you back? I've calculated the # of minutes I'd need to talk between 6-9pm to make the plan worth it (it amounts to about 5-7 minutes). I don't make many evening calls though.

So, what are you all doing in this respect?

depends on what u said, if you use it alot from 6 to 9

i have free incoming, and nights at 6pm and dont call alot of people

i end up using from 75 mins to 125 every month from my outgoin
monthly i use atleast 2,000 total

so its works for me, i love it, free incoming is cool, i wish it would include roaming

but those 3 extra hours is 15 hours a week, where u are free to talk as much as u want and not worry about mins

Again, depends on how you need it.

My daughter has the 500 ATM, Free Incoming plan as well. She uses about 450-475 ATMs, about 600 minutes between 6pm and 7pm, and she also has about 3-4000 incoming minutes and about 4-6000 N/W minutes each month as well.

So if your gonna use em, then they are worth it. If not, they aren't.

You will need to watch your usuage and see what happens. We monitored my daughter for 3 months after she got set up to see if it was working out, and it does.

What you can do is; get a text messeging plan. And instead of calling someone to call you back, Simply text them!
