This lightweight and small headset really packs loud audio (incoming and outgoing) into a silver bullet shape. (Some of the comments below may vary with phone. Tested with: Samsung A900)
Ear comfort/Fit: (4/5 stars)
3 different-sized Ear gels provide comfort for either ear, and also help channel the audio into your ear. For me, the headset actually fit better into the left ear, than it did on the right; if you're having trouble keeping the headset stuck in your ear, there is also an included earhook to help stabilize the fit. Even though the headset fits well, and can be comfortable for long periods of wear, people may find that the pressure (of having some in and against your ear) bugs them just a little bit.
Controls/Lights: (5/5 stars)
This headset features the standard Call/Headset control button that is found on all headsets. The button is surrounded by the headset's indicator light, which flashes the "standard" blue; if there's a call or message, the headset will flash an alternating Blue and Purple until you answer the call (or if it's a message, you just need to press the headset control button to return it to normal).
Placing a call via your phone's voice dial ability is as easy as pressing and holding the headset control button until you hear a tone, after a beep. The headset control button is postioned/angled just right, so that it won't affect your wearing of the headset when you press the button. You can even transfer the audio between the headset and phone, with a push and hold of the headset's control button.
Finally, the volume control is position horizontally, along the outside facing of the headset. This allows the volume control up and down to be the same position, no matter which ear you use the headset with.
Sound Quality: (4/5 stars)
The incoming sound is soft, with more bass compared to some other headsets. Even without getting a perfect seal in your ear, you can easily hear the other party quite clearly (even when driving at freeway speeds, with wind noise). The outgoing sounds seems to be quite loud, as well; I have even heard that I sounds louder with the headset, than the actual phone. However, if you are in a strong wind or area small area with people talking around you, the other party may not hear you as well.
Bluetooth Connection: (5/5 stars)
I can get at least 20 ft with this headset, and no static. (Little obstruction, and this is after forcing the headset to switch to a clear channel) The connection seems to be strong, even though my phone seems to be thought of as having a weak Bluetooth radio. Headset works best if it's on the same side of your body as the phone (else, it's trying to go through your body).
Battery Life/Charging: (5/5 Stars)
Basically, the Battery Life and charging of this headset is long and simple. :) I believe the headset has a reported life of 5 hours talk time (which is kind of low, compared to some). BUT, the beauty of this is......you can charge the headset with a AAA battery, besides using on of the many adapters provided for use with your phone's charge cable. Supposedly, you can get two full charges from one AAA battery, resulting in 15 hours of talktime (including the 5 hours you initally had, after the cabled charge) All of these items fit inside a silver colored hard case, for travel purposes.
All in all, I give this headset 5 stars for it's small, light, and comfortable design; plus, it gives great incoming and outgoing sounds in this small package. :wavey:
