Yeah, there is no way to access vision.sprint.com from PIE. Can't access Account info from PIE through sprint's website either. :(

Yeah, I found that out the hard way... Just when I thought I found the perfect phone. Don't get me wrong, I love my new phone. I just wish it had all the same vision features as my VM4050...

Ahh, yes. The raped WAP browser, the lack of any real media players, the lack of true compatability with the desktop... truly, it is a pity to have a 'bad' PDA, instead of a 'good' flip-phone...

Yeah, but in the end, we have no way of checking our account, how many minutes used, etc. without doing it the old fashioned way and using the phone to call in and find out, and using plan minutes in the process. (when calling during peak hours).
There has to be a workaround. I tried Google's WAP browsing site, and that didn't work. Short of buying Opera Beta (no thanks, not going to pay to be a Beta tester), I have no idea how to check Sprint's site, and my account info from my phone through Vision.

It only costs you 2 minutes, at most, unless you call at night. So what's the big deal?

[QUOTE=boister77]does anyone know how you can access the sprint/vision home page so you can view your account information? Yes you have to do the pie internet explorer 6.0 registry hack. This makes most websites think that you are using 6.0 instead of 4.02. You will need a registry editor program for this like phm registry edit. Go on pdaphonehome.com search for the pie 6.0 hack, also if you don't have a reg. edit program. search for that one to. Once this is downloaded. there are complete instructions for this hack.

If you are over your minutes, that can be up to $0.80 to check how many minutes you have.
And as advanced features the 6700 has, it just seems lame to have to check minutes the "old fashioned" way. I liked being able to check plan details and minutes directly, and not having to wait for all of my account info to be spoken to me.
There has to be a way to check vision.sprintpcs.com from the 6700. Any ideas? Has anyone tried with a different WAP browser, perhaps Opera Mini for Pocket PC? I guess paying for it wouldn't really be worth saving 2 minutes of call time, but I'm curious.

I use logmein to log in to my home computer from my 6700 and check it.
