My mom recently got a 8200 and the ringer volume for QCP is just horrible. I was wondering if the 8300 was louder? I know the 8300 also plays AAC so wouldnt that be better for the ringer volume?

She would like a phone that ringers loud on QCP/AAC ringers.

thanks

qcp's are quiet and pookie sounding on it in my experience, but the aac/m4a's sound awesome! and yes they can go pretty dern loud. i keep mine on 2-3 outta 4 and i can hear them coming out of the depths of hell, aka my purse :D

the 8300's ringers are a LOT louder than the 8200's i can hear my 8300 ring from the other side of the house while i could miss my 8200 while in the same room

All I can say is yes, they are louder. The kind of loud that makes you say, wow, this is loud.
