Is there any way to turn off the blinking red LED light when using camera mode?

when you go to menu/settings/display/led you can change the led color for calls, alarms, mssgs, camera is not an option. so not, it cant be done.

Wow, glad you told me that! I've been taking phone vids of hot guys at my gym locker room... I was getting looks, didn't realize it was as obvious as a flashing red light! :blush:

Ummm... Be careful doing that action, because some cities and/or states have outlawed that practice.

And there we have the reason WHY that light is there in the 1st place, to prevent things like that from happening. I'm gonna hope that was only a joke, and it would be a smart one at that, on Derek's part.

My guess is that he was joking.

Its always funny when this topic comes up, it has quite a few times, because its obvious what the reason is.
