the mm-9000 isnt really discontinued. it was discontinued by radioshack because of there new promotions with the blade and the 940. the 9000 supports PV but not all places do. im sure if you go to NJ and ask for a 9000, they will still have it in some radioshacks but i can reassure you that sprint stores and sprint customer service still has some and are still getting some. otherwise i wouldnt have gotten this phone. its an awesome phone and still get props from people being jealous :tu:

This phone is very much discontinued. You will not find it at any Sprint store or on their website. Radio Shack still has some they haven't sold, but the phone is no longer offered.

Not only is it discontinued but they have zero parts for them. I know because my phone has been broken for months and I can't get it fixed anywhere. Lockline is sending me a 9000 when one comes in. It is gone.

I guess if you don't believe any of the post above you can always call Sprint. They will tell you the exact date it was discontinued. :Popcorn2:

There should be plenty of parts for this phone. It is identical to the phone being marketed as the Sanyo MVP for ESPN. As of today, Sprint still has over 200 9000s in the warehouse. I ordered 2 yesterday for myself. Lockline draws their phones fron a serarate system.

I've been to dozens of stores in 3 states. None of them had one part for this phone. I haven't even seen the MVP. Sprint says there is some kind of parts list (can't remember the technical name he used) and the 9000 isn't on it. Lockline is also back ordered for this phone. There are plenty of handsets out there. No parts? I find that hard to believe.
