When someone calls, the little screen doesn't stay lit--it looks like it is shut off, then it'll blink for a little bit. Other than that, the phone seems to work fine. Is this a sign that it's time to get a new phone? I actually like this phone (green) and I haven't had any problems with it. I believe the green one was the last color released?

Sometimes, it just doesn't light up, or it will flicker. I was told by a sales rep that I have until December to get $150 rebate back on a new phone. :(

btw, thanks for answering D...also, when I flip it open to answer, sometimes it will hang up on that person.

hmmmm...weird...i've never seen an 8300 do that...most of the time those that act weird with keypad/lcd end up having some sort of liquid damage
