Accessory Type: Leather Case
Brand: The one from the Sprint Store
Price:$29.99+tax
Where Purchased:Sprint Store
Time Used: < 1 Day so far
Used With Which Phone: Sanyo MM-9000
Rating (1-5 Stars): 4
I've been looking around quite a while for a way to carry my Sanyo 9000. I first tried a holster but it made me nervous. Next was a bytech shuttle case, but I didn't like the look of the case on my phone because the speaker opening is triangular. So I stopped into the brand new sprint store next to my apartment complex to look around and saw the case for the 5600. I used the sprint leather case on my 5500 a while back and it worked great. It even protected my phone one bad night when I'd left it in the rain accidentaly.
The main reason I like the sprint cases is for the swivel clip. Unlike the bytech swivel the phone does not move unless you move it. Every rotation has a solid click as well as when putting the phone on the clip. The look of the case makes the phone look like any other sanyo in a sprint leather case, but no biggie to me.
To sum it up:
Pros:
Durable leather built to last
Swivel Clip will not drop your phone
Cons:
Price is too much for a case but I want what I like
My phone now looks like my Sanyo 5500
Overall, a good solution to protect and carry your 9000, or 5600. If price and style are not an issue that is.
