Capital Letters on the i850

Is it possible to use capital letters on the i850? Also, where is the calculator? I am coming from a samsung vga1000 so i'm still new to the nextel (motorola) way of doing things.

most nextel phones are the same....java apps (calculator) should be the right arrow key when u flip open the phone.. if not use menu and look for it. although the 860 did, the 870 does not have one stock so i dunno if the 850 would (it came out around the same time). you can download calculators & many other apps from the 'nextel mod' sites an get a data cable and webjal. some i know are idenworld.com or i870.org

I'm actually still having issues with the capital letters thing. Basically it's not available (as far as i can tell) when browsing the internet. This makes it impossible to use yahoo messenger or AIM for instance (passwords) or to even sign onto my nextel account. Anyone have any ideas on how to do capital letters on the i850?

oh wow, im sory, i forgot to answer that 1/2 of your question....i only answered the calc part.

ok, when you need to enter something, and you are typing, hold the # key down....you should see the abc, Abc, ABC changing in the top right, under the globe. if that doesnt work, just check the manual, or google it. sorry i left ya hangin there for like 2 months ;)
