Hi, I just renewed my contract and picked up the A900 cause I couldn't find the Sanyo 9000 anywhere. What a mistake. I got 4 days left to exchange it and i looked everywhere for this phone but can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know any Sprint stores in NYC or even within a 50 mile radius that definitly has the 9000 in stock?? I really want this phone badly. Since I renewed at a sprint store and used the 150 rabate i will have to exchange it and get the 9000 at a sprint store only and not radio shack right?

Well if you return the phone to sprint store, you can get that $150 credit back and use it at Radio Shack... RS is an authorized dealer and does support the rebate.

Around me, only the Radio Shack down the street has one 9000 left, the sprint store i called said none of the sprint stores in the area carry the 9000. RS charges the full $379 which is ridiculous for a discontinued phone.. but supply and demand i guess.. anyway.. if you have the $150 then use it at Radioshack.. otherwise you can get a brand new 9000 on ebay for $240-$280. This is my second ebay phone that I just purchased since my dog ate my first.. keep your dog away from the 9000.. they are too hard to replace!!

You can go on ebay and find it for $99 "ebay guy sprint network" or something like that ,with a contract.

But thats new contract.. so you'd lose your number most likely.. not sure if you can carry your number over to a new plan in the same company for 90days. but i might be wrong.

Just picked up my 9000 today, got the $150, kept same number just had to sign a 2-yr agreement, plus $50 for my old Sanyo that I only paid $99 for 2 years ago. Good deal on a great phone.

Another question, when I got the phone they made me sign a new contract at the store, so when I return this phone what happens to the contract, and if I go to radio shack to get the phone, will they make me sign a contract over again, I am confused???

Yea probably. the first contract will be canceled, but then you will have to re-sign up with RS

Just goto the sprint store and tell them this.. they will walk you through it.

The sprintnetwork guy on ebay has lowered his now to 49$ and that does not matter if you have the 150$ or not as long as you are able to add the line. They are great just people are scared of ebay.

But 'sprintnetwork' does require you to add a new line of service.
