Is anyone else out there using EVDO in areas that Customer Service thinks doesn't have EVDO? I'm in an area that is a three hour drive any direction to a listed EVDO area and my EVDO light came on yesterday. Since then I get 650Kb down 135Kb up with it. I'm trying ot figure out if this ia just a test and the network is going to turn off tomorrow and go away for a few months/forever or what? Anybody else used EVDO in their area before it was offically "out"?

EVDO is supposed to be in South Florida and I live about 2 hours north on the coast. Depending on what part of town I am in, or what direction I'm facing, I get EVDO sometimes. I'm not sure why this is or if they extend the coverage up along the interstate corridor.

Sprint may be continuing implementation of the network.

Well it's been a couple weeks now and its still on. Looks like San Luis Obispo, Ca is an EVDO covered area now.

I wonder how long it will take sprint to deploy EV-DO to at least most metropolitan areas?

I was also in rural Tennessee this weekend on vacation. Got next to NO service in the mountains, but when I got down into the little town of Pigeon Forge I had EVDO.... crazy...
