I used to do this with my Sanyo VM4500 and I know you can with new phones too. But has Sprint 'caught on' and started charging for this? Can they tell when your using it on your laptop?

If they have started charging, how much is it? Is there an unlimited option I could add to my plan for a certain price?

You might want to search, there are many threads about teathering plans and all that good stuff.
