I saw this on tv not to long ago where this guy could tell his phone to display any phone # he wanted on somebody elses caller ID. how can I do this??

I thought I read somewhere that this is now illegal (or will soon become illegal), since people were impersonating law enforcement and such.

I could provide the info, but I think displaying info that's not yours is dishonest and in bad taste.

A simple Google search will help you find what you're looking for.

Let him ask his question... If you want to answer it, then do so - but saying that he has no reason to ask or that you know but will not tell him is not 'playing nice'.


I've never had the occaision to do this, but your best bet is searching google for what you want to do - or perhaps search the forum for "caller ID" and scroll through your findings.
